Barrett’s FISH looks at MYC, p16, Her2 and ZNF217 gene’s to (1) determine the risk of having high grade dysplasia vs. esophageal adenocarcinoma, (2) determining the prognosis of Barrett’s Esophagus, and (3) differentiating between patients with low grade and high grade dysplasia.
EHR-D FISH Enhanced HPV-Related Disease FISH can be used in cervical, upper tract, and lower tract areas where HPV related carcinoma’s are concerned. The assay tests for the TERC gene in addition to 5p15 and 20q13 loci in order to enhance the sensitivity of detecting HPV related disease.
